A)In class I learned about phishing attacks, when someone steals your account by asking for personal information. I also learned about the trojan horse, when people try to get their virus into your computer.
B) I do have an anti-virus, microsoft security essentials. I stay up to date with windows patches, yes I let my browser automatically update.
C)Honestly, I've never really had an issue with being safe online...yet. I need to continue to avoid suspicious sites because they are people try to infect my computer with viruses. I especially need to avoid giving out my username and password.(Fishing)

What do I want to get out of this class?

What do I want to get out of this class? I want to learn how to survive technologically. I want to be able to make a power point without the help of a computer science major that I've had to flirt with. I want to know what all the important buttons like control z are. I want to master a website besides facebook. I want to be more technologically savvy than at least 2% of my students. If I can make these goals then the class will have been a major success for me.
